![]() WARNING: GPT (GUID Partition Table) detected on '/dev/sda'! The util fdisk doesn't support GPT. Bootcamp drive is readable under Mac so the file system is ok. When I boot into boot camp, it "Missing Operating System". Tried windows repair disk but it could not repair it. ![]() I managed to use gdisk to take the gpt table back and I could boot into Mac. I am using the PAE version of GParted, the macbook has both 64 bits OS, not sure if this could be an issue too. At Mac startup, I was able to see there is a windows partition from hard drive (not bootable) and the two bootable partition from the USB drive (windows and EFI Boot, the EFI boot is where I entered Gparted, not sure about that windows partition). From the GUI it showed an unallocated partition on /dev/sda. I just created a USB bootable drive and booted into the Gparted Live. I remember Mac partition could be viewed from bootcamp as drive D: too. It could be that when I created the new partition, I assigned the drive letter as D. Once this partition is created (I saw it's actually a logical partition), I could no longer boot into either Mac or windows bootcamp. ![]() I used bootcamp windows' disk utility to create a new partition from the leftover unallocated space from bootcamp partition. It was all ok after the resize as I could reboot to mac and bootcamp windows 7. I used Minitool Partition wizard (under bootcamp windows) to resize the boot camp partition into a smaller size. I had Mac OS X and bootcamp installed on my macbook. ![]()
